UPDATE:
May 01, 2026, the Senate Agriculture Committee unanimously advanced the Miscellaneous Agriculture Bill, H.942, with the Current Use equine language incorporated into the bill. This is a big development—our language is now part of a bigger agriculture bill that is advancing through the legislative process! Next steps are expected to include referral to the money committees, likely mid-to-late next week.
