A generous Vermont Horse Council member has donated $2000 for a dollar for dollar matching grant.
The Victory Trail loops in the Northeast Kingdom were severely damaged during July 2024 flooding. VHC is working cooperatively with the Lunenburg Polar Bears Snowmobile Club who is supplying materials and heavy equipment. Funding will allow the heavy equipment to be used for muddy areas on the trail that are currently not safe for equines as well as to add equine friendly footing to the edge of the repaired snowmobile trails.
