Location: Forest Rd 54, Ripton, in Addison County
Google map & directions: Click here for parking and start of ride. From Rt 125 turn onto Natural Turnpike road and follow for 3.5 miles. The road will narrow to almost a single lane. Stay to the left when you come up to the Y in the road and parking is shortly after on the right.
Description: From Sparks Landing parking there are 4 different ways you can ride. To the right leaving the lot you can travel on FR 54 for hours, or there is a quick out-and-back that goes off to the left of FR 54. To the left of the parking lot there is FR 59 which you can travel up for 4.7 miles until you hit rt 125 again. Or travel back the road you drove in on.
Terrain: All three rides are narrow dirt forest roads with low traffic and a few small hills.
Parking: A large parking area holds multiple trailers. There are occasionally others parked there.
