Last week, as we prepared for our first big snow of the season, I was reminded to be sure that every gate snap is facing down. Yes, they can still freeze, but it is far less than when the clip is exposed and facing up. No one wants to fight frozen gate clips and this little trick makes a difference on those cold, Winter days.
